Good Morning!!! I guess I should not say that because the when you wake up in the morning and open up the newspaper, the first news you read is "a brother killed his sister" or "some people killed a couple" because they were married & not of the same caste. Well this doesn't make anyone happy. India is a secular state where everyone has the right to choose whichever religion they want to. But still "Honour killings" are increasing, or I should say "Horror Killings" are increasing.
A person relies on his family the most and feels that they will understand but if the family members are becoming like killers then who is going to save them? After 2-3 weeks of every killing there will be a news that court is becoming rigid on the killers they will be punished heavily bla bla bla.... but what about those who are already killed?? Will they come back?? No, so the solution is not give the killers a punishment but the solutions is to stop these kind of killings. We all should help and stop these kind of killings.
Well this is not just a one day decision to kill that person. But this thing is inserted by birth. The ghost enters to our body & mind from childhood itself. The ghost of casteism enters into our mind and grows slowly & slowly. It is very calm from outside but very dangerous. Why we consider all humans to be of one caste. Why can't we consider that we all belong to a single caste named HUMANITY. All of us pray god in one or the other form, isn't this a similarity in all of us. We all have to breathe, eat & drink to live. Isn't that a similarity than why do we fight each other just for the sake that one doesn't belongs to your caste.
I think like all the NGO's running for different causes like saving girl child, stop child labor etc. NGO's should also work to stop casteism. I think we all should work for the reason. Let's take a pledge that "we will not support casteism. We support Humanity."
